Privacy policy

Karibu Trips must complete its registered company details in Settings → Site before this policy is final.

What we collect

To book travel and apply for visas we collect your name, contact details, passport details, travel dates and the documents you upload. For payments we record the amount, method and the reference given by the payment provider. We never see or store card numbers or mobile money PINs: those are entered on the payment provider's own page or phone prompt.

Why we use it

Only to provide the service you asked for: booking flights and tours, preparing and submitting visa applications, taking payment, and keeping you informed by email, SMS and WhatsApp. If you opt in, we also send a monthly newsletter, which you can leave at any time.

Who we share it with

With airlines (through our flight booking provider), embassies and visa authorities, our tour partners on the ground, and our payment, email, SMS and WhatsApp providers — each only as far as needed for your booking.

Your documents

Passport scans and other visa documents are stored outside the public part of the website and can only be opened by you (when signed in) and by our visa staff. Staff access to documents is recorded.

The assistant

Questions you type into our assistant are sent to an AI service to produce an answer from our own guides, and are kept so our team can check answers and improve the guides.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information by writing to hello@kaributrips.com. Some records (such as payments) must be kept for accounting.
